Alex founded AML STUDIO with the belief that architecture and interiors create the opportunity to make inhabitable art that can inspire every day. His design ethos borrows elements of modernism, tempering its austerity with natural materials to create warmer, more tactile moments. Alex has always had a genuine curiosity for how things are made and function, which is evident in his control of materials and attention to detail.

KELLY BERGIN

Kelly’s ability to express her vision on paper is a key part of our Design Development process for our projects. A Southern California native, her approach to architecture is idealistic and experiential. Before joining AML STUDIO, Kelly collaborated on luxury residences with the award-winning Horst Architects. Her eye for playfulness in design brings energy and excitement into the studio.
MEG FINNEY

Meg’s background is in bespoke furniture, which she equates with living art capable of elevating life’s daily rituals. She takes a holistic approach to design and favors natural materials with an emphasis on texture. As a detail-oriented and logistically-minded individual, Meg excels at managing complex projects from start to finish.
SEAN LORENZ

Sean has an innate interest for construction technologies and detailing, with nine years of experience working in high-end residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. His innovative experience brings technical knowledge to clearly orchestrate our design execution and implementation. He is currently studying for his exams to become a licensed architect in the state of California.
JOSH POWELL

Josh contributes to each project at AML STUDIO from conceptualization through construction as our 3D and rendering specialist. He has applied and honed his design principles across a range of projects, from high-rise office towers to commercial spaces; from high-end residential to tiny home design. Josh approaches projects with a refined eye for detailing, particularly in the expression of materials and light.
