When our clients were fortunate enough to acquire a double lot in Venice, they tasked the studio with creating a home with modest scale and proportion yet grand architectural and outdoor living aspirations. Old-growth Western Red cedar cladding, vertical board-formed concrete, and custom wood doors and windows offer a sandy warm tone to the project, further reinforced by stone walls, pavers, and concrete block landscaping. A mix of French, Italian, and American mid-century furniture were blended with contemporary editions, as well as custom pieces designed specifically for the project by the studio.
