233 PARADISE COVE

PARADISE COVE, MALIBU, CA

This project was a pioneer for design in the well-known Paradise Cove Malibu enclave, as one of the first double-wide trailers to be remodeled with architectural design intent. Our clients purchased the home with a congested floor plan and lacking style. The post and beam detailing of the structure is expressed along with a tongue and groove ceiling, with walls done in a creamy Marmarino plaster, and floors finished in reclaimed French white oak. Custom steel doors and windows were hand-fabricated for this job, and the exterior was clad in reclaimed barnwood to accentuate the A-Frame architecture.
